Anti Shock

Anti Shock racks are designed to provide enhanced levels of protection for health and safety in the general area of installation. They include all the benefits and features of standard open racks but include additional bolt-down base-plates and battery retention rails.

They are designed to be used in areas where vibration or externally applied force may result in a battery toppling from the rack. Typical applications are heavily manned plant rooms or areas where handling equipment is also present. They are not suitable as an alternative to anti-seismic racks in low load environments as the materials utilised are the same as for the equivalent standard rack. Anti-shock specification racks are available in every equivalent standard configuration from single tier single row to 6 tier 4 row.
