Standard Cubicles

Traditional battery cubicles have been a mainstay of Nirvana Engineering for many years. We offer 2 main variants, 1 standard version for population with batteries on site and a heavy duty version for battery installation prior to shipment to the end user.

Both variants can be configured to accept any type of battery technology and individual modules can be suited together to form potentially infinite battery storage.

Recent variations on the standard cubicle design have offered sliding shelves to optimise battery storage whilst improving maintenance access. These are usually designed around the heavy duty version so the trays can be populated prior to despatch. The only on site work then required is final linking between the trays.

The general design also features good ventilation and ample facility for the provision of mounting facilities for switchgear, battery monitoring systems or instrumentation.

Standard sizes are all based on 800mm unit depth, heights of 1000mm, 1400mm or 1800mm, with module widths available of 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm. Special sizes can be made available on request.

As per our other products, these cubicles can be supplied in a wide range of RAL colours on request.
